FosCoS-FSSAI REGISTRATION / LICENSE
FSSAI - INTRODUCTION
The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) mandates all Food Businesses be registered or licensed in
accordance with the procedure laid down in Food Safety & Standards Act, 2006.
FSSAI is mandatory for all FBOs( Food Business Operator) and starting for new business.All the manufacturers, traders,retailer,wholesaler, distributor,restaurant,Re-packer, Re-labeler,Importer etc. who are involved in food business must be obtain a FSSAI License Number.
Every Food Business operator should aware about Food Safety & Standard act of FSSAI.
The Act requires that all Food Business Operators (FBO) i.e. persons engaged in the manufacture, processing, packaging, storage,
transportation, distribution and sale of food products are required to obtain (depending on their business turnover) either a
registration or a license with the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI)as per the following criteria:

- Annual turnover from food business up to Rs. 12 lakhs per annum - Registration/Fee Rs. 100 per annum
- Annual turnover from food business above Rs. 12 lakhs per annum - License/Fee Rs. 2000 per annum

Artlife Business Owners(ABO) can register themselves under FoSCoS-FSSAI as ‘Distributors' on their own on by logging on
the website https://foscos.fssai.gov.in/

- Photograph of Distributor
- Copy of Identity Proof like Voter ID Card, PAN Card , Driving License,Passport,Aadhar Card , Ration Card, Senior Citizen Card,Department Issued ID.
- Supporting Document (if any ):NOC by Municipality / Panchayat. Health NOC.
